Baby Before Blogging :)
Blogging will be suspended a few days due to the arrival of our fifth child- but first girl!- this morning at 8:54. Abigail Calene was 8 pounds 11 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. Mom and baby are doing well, and big brothers are very proud. Coming as she did on Easter Sunday – as mom had long predicted- she is our little reminder of new life.

Oh what wonderful joy! Congratulation! Did you know that you were having a girl? And what do all of the big brothers think of her? May the Lord continue to bless you and your family.
Congratulations, Ray! Boys are great, but there's also something so special about a little girl that just makes the home so much sweeter!

We did know (as much as you can know) that this was a girl. Her brothers are beside themselves with excitement over her, wanting to touch her, kiss her, hold her, and talking about how they are her protectors.
